Network Prospect – Local Business Contributor – Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic

The Network Prospect Local Business Contributor campaign series will introduce you to local business owners and their employees. For this instalment, we interviewed Karen Chan and Carmelo Scavone of Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic.

Your health is your wealth

Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic is a holistic approach to health care. The practice has evolved from high-quality physiotherapy services into a multiple allied clinic with their patients’ overall wellbeing in mind. Karen and her team’s therapies now also extend to podiatry, traditional Chinese acupuncture, dietetics and nutrition, massage, rehabilitation, pilates, mindfulness, yoga, and meditation.

Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic was originally established in 1984 in a beautiful character bungalow. Their clinic was renovated in 2015/2016, creating a fusion of modern and character charm. The clinic features comfortable and modern refurbished treatment rooms, a large exercise room for classes and workshops, and a welcoming waiting area.

Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic has also been adapting to new technologies by updating their website and creating online bookings. To book online, click here.

The Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic team aim to look after your full health, by balancing their client’s physical and emotional wellbeing to lead a more satisfying and healthy lifestyle.

“Your health is your wealth. Be rich in happiness, laughter, love, knowledge and balance.” – Karen’s Motto

Karen’s approach to health has both eastern and western influences and we believe this has evolved the business.

Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic would love to support small local businesses through prevention programs for local businesses. Earlier this year, the team launched a special program directed to employees and employers who live or work around their practice. It is essential to keep the workplace safe and improve our working environment if we really want to improve the quality of our life, as we all spend our time (sometimes too much!) at work.

What does this initiative look like for your workplace?

  • Initial assessment and three follow-up treatments per year per employee at concession rate
  • Physiotherapist availability on-site for four hours, monthly, to assist any employee in need at their workplace
  • Personalized prevention programs, educational events, vouchers

If you are an employer or an entrepreneur and you care about keeping your staff healthy, reach out to the Prospect Physiotherapy and Health Plus Clinic team to receive more information about this initiative. If you are an employee, talk to your employer about this Network Prospect feature and kindly ask them to get in touch!
